Refund Policy

1. Free Plan

TripSet offers a free plan with no payment required. There is nothing to refund for free plan users.

2. Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscription plans (Explorer and Creator Pro) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as Merchant of Record. Your purchase contract is with Paddle, and Paddle's own terms and refund obligations apply alongside this policy.

3. EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, unless you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that this right is thereby waived. By activating your subscription and accessing paid features immediately, you waive the statutory withdrawal right. Our voluntary 7-day money-back guarantee (below) provides equivalent protection regardless of this waiver.

4. Refund Eligibility

  • 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with a paid plan for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase — no questions asked.
  • Renewal refunds: if you are charged for a renewal and did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the charge for a full refund.
  • Annual plans: if you cancel an annual plan after the 7-day guarantee period, we will issue a prorated refund for unused complete months at our discretion.
  • No refunds are issued for partial months on monthly plans after the 7-day period.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at contact@tripset.io with your account email and reason for the refund request. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund. You retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.

7. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect patterns of abuse (e.g., repeatedly subscribing and canceling to exploit the guarantee). Accounts found abusing the refund policy may be suspended.
