In your itinerary, click the Collaborators button in the toolbar.
2. Invite by email
Enter your travel companion's email address. They receive an invite link valid for 7 days.
3. Edit together
Once they accept, both of you can add and edit places, hotels, transport, and notes — changes are visible instantly.
Three levels of access — full control stays with the owner.
Owner
Full control — edit everything, invite and remove co-editors, publish or unpublish the itinerary, delete the trip.
Co-editor
Can add and edit days, places, hotels, transport, notes, and expenses. Cannot publish, delete, or manage other editors.

Anyone with the share link can view the full itinerary — no account required. The link can be revoked at any time.
How do I invite someone to co-edit my itinerary?
Open your itinerary in TripSet, click the Collaborators button in the toolbar, enter your companion's email address, and send the invite. They receive an email with an acceptance link valid for 7 days.
Does the other person need a TripSet account?
Yes — to accept a co-editor invitation, the invitee needs to sign up or log in to TripSet. Signing up is free and takes under a minute.
Can I share the itinerary with someone who just wants to view it?
Yes. Use the Share link feature — it generates a read-only link that anyone can open without an account. The link can be revoked and regenerated at any time.
What can a co-editor do?
Co-editors can add and edit days, places, hotels, transport, notes, and expenses. They cannot publish or unpublish the itinerary, delete it, or manage other collaborators — those actions are owner-only.
Can a co-editor clone my itinerary?
No. Cloning is only available to the owner. A co-editor can edit the shared itinerary but cannot copy it into their own account.
How many co-editors can I invite?
Currently unlimited on the free plan. You can invite as many travel companions as you need.
Can I remove a co-editor?
Yes. Open Collaborators, find the editor in the list, and click Remove. Co-editors can also leave a trip themselves at any time.
Can I cancel an invite before it is accepted?
Yes. Pending invitations appear in the Collaborators panel with a Cancel option — click it to revoke the invite before the recipient accepts.
What happens if the invitee's email is not yet verified?
The invitation is held in pending state and activates automatically once they verify their email — no need to resend.
